BANDWAGONNNN
yusss! I've finally caught the crest of the fangirl wave!
Though I'm kind of cheating because I haven't actually seen the movie.
But I want to! :C
I drew this while at my dad's-side-of-the-family christmasthing.
Woot for Christmas!
I'm really happy with this. I printed a few things off for reference, but the center drawing is basically of my own creation. It's a bit more cartoony than the rest of the drawing, but because of the planes of his face, it's my favorite part. I'm quite pleased with Mizzz Lovett too.
And yay for first pages of new sketchbooks!
Hope you dudes like this. 'Cause I pretty much dang like it. C:
-eyeroll- THIS VERSION of Sweeney Todd belongs to Tim Burton, but I borrowed his amazing ideas and drew them. Copyrights and all that jazz.
The woman is Mrs Lovett. It was an awesome movie. *_* I'm itching to do some fan art once I get my new tablet pen. Tim burtons versions of the sweeney todd crew are just amazing.
I'm kind of bracing myself to see it because I'm sometimes squeamish with gore-- though I can watch action movies and war movies and not be affected. Weird. I disturb easily sometimes.
Tim Burton is certainly a type of genius. Though I think he's a bit more than a little off his rocker.

I will warn you, there is full on scenes of throat cutting. It's pretty graphic. I've seen the play and it still surprised the hell out of me. It definitely was rated R for a reason. STILL! Go see it. The black humor and over all quirkiness of the story is awesome. Not to mention the musical scores are great.
Sweeney Todd doesn't really belong to Burton, he's been used in British literature for a long while, and there's a theater musical version of the story also. ^^
But you did a great job capturing the character, this is an awesome sketch. I love Mrs. Lovett. I just saw the movie last night and it is AMAZINGLY good.

Banned because someone thinks I care enough about them to put all of my hard work at risk and purposefully evade their blocks. I love it when people exaggerate things to get their way.
Oh lol yeah... I know, I probably should have put, -this version of Sweeney Todd-
Thanks very much. He has such a striking image in the movie that I wanted to capture it.
I want to see it quite bad.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
